Question Restarting LMS, what to do?

So I read quite a long way into LMS three to four years ago. I got quite far beyond the translation and read mtl of the raws. I don't really remember where I was in the story by chapter and volume. I remember that the mtl I read was much further along than the translated work. Do you all suggest I restart from the beginning and if so is the translation still scattered or has it been collected yet?

Where I stopped reading he had gotten back to his kingdom from the desert and that one guild was attacking his kingdom. the hero he sculpted was fighting for him. I remember the enemy got to the castle but I don't remember how it ended. TBH by that point my retention was incredibly degraded merely by the poor quality of mtl.

 

If you do be prepared fora month of heavy reading. Rainbow turtle has my respect for typing all of that. I would suggest starting over.you forget too much.

 

Just restart. You've read it so long ago that it's worth it to read it again.

 

Chapter one. If the last time you read was 3 years ago, there have been 25 or so more volumes translated since then.

i get a problem when re-reading. . .
i thought i've forgotten about it and then booom! i will remember the freaking sequence of the story. . . .

sometimes i wish i got Dumboldores magic, that thing where you can forget things and put it somewhere. . . .

Restarted LMS myself 4 times and all of them I dropped in the middle of volumes 20-22, the Lich-Pirate arc is killed me every time, too long, too unnecessary and TOO boring.

Have also tried several times, v23 is personal record. If only the game was an MMORPG and not a Solo Adventure with viewer reactions.

 

Not sure if its just me, but i reread LMS everyone once in a while. Great novel and gets even better later on. Especially with all the char development. But thats just me.

 

wow, the pirate/lich arc, uggh I forgot about that.

 

Start from chapter 1. I haven’t read LMS in a while and like you forget where I left off. I restart LMS last night.

 

Well if it was me I'd probably read it from the beginning since LMS is wonderful to read ^^
But if you're short on time, probably skip the first few volumes? 20 maybe? >.<"

 

Lols i really likes the novel until that point with the lich-pirate arc. Which is when i decided to drop it...

 

I gets very repetitive later on. If you found any arc boring just wait until you hit the arc where he does his master quest, it´s like 10 volumes and very boring.

 

Just reread from where you stopped, it is awesome now with rainbow turtle as translator
