I really hope someone picked up novel. I have completed mtl it. It was great and enjoying. I really love MC. Every arcs get better more you read it, more you will like this novel. I am so sad that I finished reading it and want more.
I went ahead and read it (mtl really destroys my vocab!). Somehow, it does not appeal to me much. First, let's get this straight. She does not do tasks. She does not have a system that usual bugs other task doers. She's a demon cultivator who managed to save her soul by being destroyed by the heavenly tribulation when she used her trump card mirror. That mirror is her key to jump from space to space. The mirror continuously seaches for bodies that is according to the owner's preferences. Once the lifespan of a certain body has reached an end point, she transfers to another. She tries to, at least, fulfill the dying wish of the soul's body.
I have read the mtl And it left me hanging same with ~Boss Level Face-Slapping Specialist [Quick Transmigration]~ They have the same author so maybe thats why Maybe i'm not used to such a small chapter numbers (with reading an still ongoing quick transmigration in my library it has 4200+ chapter currently and update 5chapter a day in mtl) and because the ending made me think theres more Like having one ML for the rest of the novel (i think they all have one soul but i'm just guessing cuz i'm used to this kind of thing) Cuz it feels like it but then boom no more chapters The latest arc (an ancient settings the second one and last arc of the whole novel) the ML?(of this novel) got the system like how the MC of ~Boss level~ got his system And the system cant bind the mc of this novel so some mystery or just the soul is protected by the mirror so they can't bind Anyway the emperor got the system and i thought that maybe he can follow the mc now that he has an soul traveling tool And the mc and the little mirror has some idea of pretending to be like a system And it just gotta end there The freaking build up make me want more
I feel that in this novel, there is no growth for the MC. It's just MC jumping from one place to another once she's bored. She's tte same althroughout. I guess this is the reason why I'm not too fond of her. Once someone wrongs her, she doesn't let go. Even once. Humans are not perfect. We do all kinds of wrongs all our lives. Smh...there are arcs that I love, arcs that I really don't like. MC never had children with the MLs in each arc. To her, the children will only tie her down. Somehow, I can't help think that the author doesn't like kids, and likes younger men. Lol anyway, going back, in the arc where she got the body of the "real daughter" of the Chu family, she destroyed a marriage just because the parents "didn't care enough for her". I hated the MC for that. In that arc, Chen mama and Chu mama gave birth at the same time. A blackout happened and they got exchanged. So Chen mama got Chu baby, Chu mama got Chen baby. 17 years after, they were told by the hospital that they got the wrong children. Now, Chu Xuan, the Chen baby, was reincarnated. In the first life, when they found out that she was not the Chu baby, she was sent back to the Chen family but the Chen family is a really nasty family due to domestic violence and such. Chu family adopted Chu Xuan but she lived separately. Every time she comes back to the Chu's, she notices that the Chu's are getting closer and closer which made her feel ostracized. Then she entered showbiz against the will of the family which alienated her more. Chu Xiang, the "real daughter", gradually became better and was then groomed to be the heir of the Chu family. Chu Xuan, on the other hand, got a scandal because of her Chen family who harrassed her for money. That scandal became to big for her so she asked help from the Chu family which she alienated too. But Chu Xiang declined to help her. Chu Xuan eventually died by the age of 40. I forgot the reason. She then reincarnated back to when she was 17 years old. She vowed to take what Chu Xiang has. She then became a green tea b****. She acted sensible by offering to go to the Chen family when the truth came out. But after 5 days, she got sick which frightened the Chu mama and papa. This was in line with plan to not stay with the Chen family. She also framed Chu Xiang of various things subtlely at home and in school. Chu Xiang has no time to even say anything since she really doesn't know what's going on. The real Chu Xiang died when she drowned due to Chu Xuan's schemes. That's when MC came and counterattacked Chu Xuan. I have no qualms with counterattacking. My grip is that, MC is destroyed a family. In my mind, I know Chu mama and Chu papa are at fault. But not to the extent of the punishment they were dealt with. Their sin is they loved the child they raised too much that they forgot they had a real daughter. You can't change that perception in a day or two. Or in this case, 3 months. The MC was too vindictive in her pursuit. Chu papa tried to mend the bridge, Chu mama also tried when she learned about what happened to Chu Xiang. But she fed them wrong information again and again. It was really sad. Both Chu mama and Chu papa were not innocent, I should say. But when they learned of what really happened to Chu Xiang under the Chen family, they were taking Chu Xiang's side. But again, MC determined they should have done more so they are not worthy of her. In some sense, I agree with her. But MC could've solved this differently. Giving of right information. Then again, her decision is in line with her character. I guess I'm not used to MCs who are like her.
Here is my support for MC, I love her very much, I love her ruthless, independent and revenge on scum characters. Only thing I don't like is she marry ML. It would be better if she stay single and reject ML. I love non CP and strong MC, face slapping. As for fake and true daughter arcs I hate chu parent, they are worst and scum parent, they doesn't care about their children, they only care about their interests and reputation. They wrong poor original host and abuse her. They ignore true daughter but care to false daughter. As a parent, they should give equal love and attention to their children, not to make them jealous and hate each other. They should have let them get along. They are scum and failure parent that ignore and abuse their blood daughter but care green tea false daughter. What MC did to scum parent is justice and satisfying. They don't deserved to be called parent. I get angry and pain when I think of how they hurt original host.
Recommend my favorite Female MC world hopping novel. It was enjoying, cool and great. MC is smart, clever and hardworking. There is no ML, MC doesn't marry or fall in love. She only think of experience multiple world travel and learning new thing. Each arcs is interesting and enjoyful. MC isn't ruthless. I think MC phrased it most succinctly when she said that they don't know these things because they don't care. They were fed bad information for sure, but even then the way that they treated the Host and they saw her can't just happen because of false info. Like, if my child came back and had serious resentment towards my adopted child, i'd consider counselling, or if she kept getting into arguments with my other kid where the other kid is crying and shes saying she didn't do anything, i'd be concerned that they might be misunderstanding each other or something. I would not assume constantly that this kid has to be super evil and never consider her side. The thing is here, they don't view her as their child at all. They know that she's their kid, but they have absolutely no sense of parental responsibility for her. So when all of these things happen, they never consider being objective or making sure that she's okay, and they refuse to believe her. They don't even talk to her much. or interact enough. Most of this could've been stopped if they just asked, or believed the host, or showed genuine concern. When Chu Xiang rightfully is like 'you don't care about me at all' after being literally starved, accused of many things without proof and without anyone giving her the benefit of the doubt, and being isolated from those around her for fucking months, instead of realising that they royally fucked up, Mother Chu gets mad. She doesn't consider that lashing out and hating them is an entirely normal response, she literally tries to hit her, again a child who has been physically and emotionally abused for her whole life, because she thinks she's not giving her respect. After y'know, treating her like total shit for months. People who, even when they are confronted with how they treated someone, don't reflect but instead lash out at a literal abuse survivor, deserve to have their marriage fall apart. It's not just that they didn't care about the original host, it's that they're selfish, and that they don't do their responsibillities. They didn't need to care about her, they just needed to do their fucking job and at least try to make sure she was okay or make her a genuinely better person for all of these issues to come to light. But they don't care, they don't want to do their jobs as parents, and even when confronted with their wrong, they still act righteous. They're just not good parents, nor are they good people. EDIT: Also literally when Chu Xiang is like 'hey your adopted daughter treats me like shit' Father Chu refuses to believe it. Like that's not being fed bad info that's being willfully ignorant when literally there is hard proof of that. Plus, even taking all that into account, when they know Chu Xuan has hurt Chu Xiang over and over again, they don't consider how Chu Xiang feels? Late sympathy is late, you can't treat someone like that and then afterwards literally consider let the person who is responsible for that and also nearly killed her still live off your money. Loving your child is one thing but she's done all that and you still want that other child to be okay with her living off your money? Their empathy for her only runs so deep, and it's fucking shallow.
This story actually quite good, although the MC had questionable moral, she know to return good with good, return evil with evil, she had her own rule based on that, although she sometimes give good looking people some favour That's way if she ended up with ml he definitely will be handsome man . I will only briefly give spoiler. Spoiler: Arc 1 This arc will make you know how mc think about life in general, she was transmigration into a young girl who has her fiance stolen by the daughter of housekeeper that live and raised in her house, MC transmigration happen when the original body died because of alcohol poisoning, when MC arrive he decided to cut their relationship with fiance, focus in studies and went internship in her family company.
I just finished the 2nd arc and it was satisfying. So far I see no problem to her character. I didn't see any statement saying she don't want a child so I think the author just didn't write about her children. She is bold. She treat people the way they treat them. On the first arc, the one she brought down surely caused too much pain for the original host. The same goes with the 2nd arc. I'll remind you that those original hosts are driven to death by their SO and that's why MC could enter their bodies. MC was kind enough to gave them several warnings but they were just so stupid that MC snapped and ruined them. She's not a pushover, though her char maybe not the wisest, I still like her.
Honestly I like an independent, selfish, and badass MC. Regrettably that like goes away chapter after chapter of the MC giving off the vibe of a Robot. Superficial family relationship, no friends, and no love. I don’t know ♀️ I personally would like some romance at least.
