i have recently heard that the book was banned from qidian so there was a guy in Reddit said that it will come back this July so i wanna ask u guys is it true if not when would it come back
Banned, but there was a petition to unban it, the gov is thinking about it. It is definitely gonna be unbanned, but the issue is when. The gov is corrupt as fck, they put priority to cases in which the public servants are in touch with rather than people that did not bribe them.
Still ban, but maybe will not be in 2 or 3 years. The things are, the Big Bro is angry, so the lower guys had to ban everything to NOT get in trouble, and now that the matter had somewhat subsided, no one wanted to risk offending Big Bro and lift the ban on some novels that could potentially anger Big Bro. Although the chance is slim, it's the matter of life and death, so no one would take the risk, until the matter had been completely forgotten, that is.
The only time I've ever heard of books being unbanned in China was after Mao died so I wouldn't hold my breath. It's almost never about anything Anti-China. Bannings are usually for enforcing rules more severely than they had been in the past. A book like "Reverend Insanity" was probably skirting on the edge to begin with so I wouldn't be surprised if it had a ton of violations.

The author is already working on a new novel, he's probably not expecting any good news since most banned novels remain banned till now.
You would be right, if the author were to stockpile any chapter. He didn't write a single RI chapter during the whole 2 years hiatus. He has already slacked enough.
