In chapters 650ish~ he'll return but there is a lot of major build up in his foundations at the same time world building

wasn't it just banned/ on indefinite hiatus? and I usually drop books on my own at some point though so doesn't change much

I read it in a post here. You can search for it here about the status. I can't remember exactly except the author says he is stopping RI and writing a new book because RI has too many stuff that needs to be revised. And yes, it is supposely banned but can still be found.

The story is pretty long so you can still read it. The main MC always die every 400-500 chapters anyway and a new story got reboot. Even if it is not in hiatus, it is still ok to read until you are bored of it.

IIRC that's incorrect/misleading. The novel was banned, and what author said is even if there was a chance for it to be unbanned he'd have to revise the novel to oblivion to comply with the new censorship standards. He might post the ending chapters on wechat or some non-Qidian platform someday.

His new book is very different but also good, people tell me.

I didn't say it is not banned and I dont know what you are trying to say. You are just copying what I have written.

You probably didnt get your facts correct too. As long as the author can revise it to comply it with the guidelines, it will be unbanned.

Northern Plains arc is one of the best arcs in my opinion. Maybe you did not understand it. I have re-read the novel more than once.
The protagonist 's arrogance was punished
His out of character behaviors explained

Your initial post says the author dropped it, which is flat out wrong. Along with your second post it gives the misleading impression that the author wanted to revise it which is... heh.

Also your facts are incorrect IIRC, banning and suspending pending revision are two different things. Daoist Gu was flat out banned and the author didn't get an option to revise it to comply with the guidelines. He probably wouldn't have agreed anyway though, even if it were an option.

yea I enjoyed it as well, just the start was a little slow and I didn't know how it would develop and didn't like how he was using chang shan yin's body at the time (just me being picky). i posted this when I was at the start of the arc so of course I didn't understand the whole arc then lol :)

You should try the manhua if the story gets too slow for you.
Although it skips a lot of places.
I envy you, you are reading it all the first time.
The scene were he was at the Three Kings Inheritance and fled to the Northern plains is probably the coolest.
That scene was repeated again when he was surrounded by Rank 8s. The epicness was over 10,000!!
Criticize this novel and I will end you

I recommend Kingdom's Bloodline even though the daddy's complex is weird and annoying. I might translate Kingdom's Bloodline if my staff do not find it too difficult to translate

Kingdom 's Bloodline is a very slow burn.
Lots of teasing by the author but the payoff very satisfying

this on its own is a whole arc, so about 200 ch in total, correct me if im wrong but u might see the end to this arc around ch 600???? it was a long arc, and some parts are skippable, but overall it ties into some important gu , and events that take place like the auction. Also this arc is important cuz he comes back to the north in the future to fight for an inheritance and sets up a masssive scam/sheme and that wholes story with the rank 8 beast involved was amazing
