I was reading the reviews for Crossing to the Future, it's Not Easy to be a Man and one of them mentioned they were expecting a harem later on. Now, I enjoy reading novels with female MCs but what I don't enjoy are reverse harems, so I was hoping someone could clear it up for me on whether or not there will be one.
Go away. Sorry I read the thread name and thought you were asking our thought on the subject of reverse harem. What you are asking is a very important question. It can be a deciding factor in dropping a book. I apologise for commenting before reading the full post.
From what I've MTL'ed via google-senpai (ch 429), she's surrounded by boys but only one seems to remotely have any romantic interest. Her trap game is too strong lol They are more devout fanboys if anything
Reverse Harems usually mean that more than one person is interested in the female MC, but it doesn't mean that they all bang her. What's wrong with more than one person being interested in a female MC?
It just gets annoying when there are a bunch of people fighting for the romantic interest of one person I thank ye both
As far as the spoiler thread goes, there is no harem. The male lead will be introduced much later and they should be 1v1
Not big fan of harem novel... I really like reading FMC but reverse harem -not just harem, like polyandry? big no! *its more terrifying. I'd rather read yuri, futanari or yaoi... Recently I can find wnovel with reverse harem / more than 1 male lead end up with FMC... or FMC married more than one husband (I read the novel - searching for spoiler - I drop it after I know about the ending that the FMC end up with more than one guy) *just bye harem/reverse harem
for people who like harem be it a Japanese type of harem or Chinese, we should be fair for both genders, here's a question Why is it taboo for a girl to have a harem? what novel was it?
Spoiler Because she look like a b*tch to me some thing with phoenix(?) and another one from Korea and theres more from CN... Forgot the title
It's purely a social construct. Note that the reason why we have "green tea bitches" and "white lotus flowers" is due to the past generation's desire to subvert women into what they believed should be the "perfect woman" i.e. pure, innocent, and only loyal to one man. Of course, they tried to do the same with men, but not as aggressively (mainly because most cultures value men more than women and, biologically, women are the ones who carry the baby so they shouldn't carry someone else's child but their husband's). There's a deeper dive into how society and religion developed the idea that "a key which opens many locks is a master key while a lock that opens to any key is a shitty lock," but I don't want to get into that. Edited note: if anyone actually believes that quote is some sort of wise saying, I will consider that person to be sexist. The metaphor is completely illogical as the genitalia of men and women are not keys and locks. Keys and locks are objects created for the sole purpose of privacy, whereas the former grouping is not. All I gotta say is that society's norms are stupid.
Thank you kind sir. I will never forget thid wise saying. Just like I despise bitches. I apply the same logic for unfaithful bastards. No reason why a male sticking his d*** in other women would be glorious. Whereas a woman doing the same would be a simple bitch. That's just hypocritical thinking. But I do enjoy harem because of my own fantasm, and dislike Reverse Harem and reading about female MC
You're completely missing the point. I was saying that the quote is stupid. Please don't misquote me.
For me, you wont know whose the father was if its was a reverse harem since the female only have 1 body. There would be a problem like ''Its my child!!'' or so. I like imagine the endings but I wont probably like imagine this kind of ending.
