well i just feel bad for those people who spend a lot of cash for the game. i also play this game and heroes evolved but i don't spend cash on it so it doesn't really hurt as much. i think LoL is also going to release a mobile version moba 5v5 game strike of kings maybe that's why they are filling a lawsuit(i could be wrong).
Same, I don't particularly play the game or am too informed about it, but I do have a lot to say on the topic, thought I edited my comment out I kinda want to just rant on very badly, I have a bit of a chip on my shoulder relating to the general copyrights thing and china.
This is obviously a marketing campaign. Show some drama, get the mobile company to give a lot of shares to Riot and then you have both of them being talked about. The chinese company who actually owns both of them makes even more money.
Former rioter here. And I don't believe I'm divulging anything that isn't already public. Yes, Riot was founded in America but majority of the shares now belongs to Tencent.
Yes it is but it was bought by Tencent. There had been a few leaks from China ever since like Kayn(which is the newest champ)
This is still no that similar. I know 1 game from Chinese dev in google play that has 90 striking resemblance of character from another title. Heck they even copied the character art either from the game or from pixiv.....
The reason why mobile legend flourish is because it only cost 400-500mb and it's actually fun... Also, the advertisement... Also, i play this game because of my sister recommendation, last only till lvl 16 before decided to delete it... Oh well, time to grab some popcorn...
Hopefully this really is just some marketing campaign because a lot of people, including my friend who invited me to play this, spent a lot of cash for this game.
Dropped League of Legends and went back to WoW. Figured I would deny giving more money to QI parent company that way.
