Has anyone else read ch. 127 of Rokudou no Onna-tachi? Some of the best lines ever spoken by the MC of a harem manga... no... of all manga, period. The fight, dialogues and the accompanying flashbacks sent chills down my spine. Real proof of character development... and boy, what a way to do it! It was totally worth slogging thru all the previous chs just for this.
Decent. It can get slow and clichéd (with its exaggerations of power of friendship and the idealistic, weak-but-can-take-hits MC) but it features actual character growth for many of the characters involved. If more chs like the one I mentioned come along, then it would be one hell of a manga. Since the mangaka didn't wimp out with this fight, I hv high expectations for future chs. This ch kinda sums up Rokudou's journey from a crybaby to a REAL MAN. It wasn't just about the power of ideals/love/friendship, but also a validation of what he had gained from his struggles/efforts/experiences, and the resulting transformation in attitude that came with it.
He has become stronger, yes. In the latest ch., he wins in a fight against a really powerful opponent (an injured one, but still) using the martial arts he has learnt.
