So I felt like sharing my idea for a short/medium length romance based in a cultivation world. Now I enjoy reading romance but xianxia/xuanhuan romance always seem to be even when its female mc the male mc basically forces her into relationship and bullies her. My idea is that female mc for some reason hates/dislikes male mc but he falls utterly and deeply in love with her. She decides to use him, gaining pills, techniques, resources etc. However his utter devotion to her wears down her negative feelings for him and she slowly falls in love with him too, and after all the time she spent using him doesn't feel like she deserves him and tries to break up with him but he refuses telling her he knew she was using him but just wanted to be near her, to see her and be with her and make her happy. So they stay together in mutual love. <3 the end.
like the idea. Classic, never gets old. Like the drama potential. Would like to see MC be portrayed as kinda an ungrateful bitch at the start. Maybe offer a female rival. A real good one, all prim and proper and nice and cute. The best girl, you'd think. Just to make it more interesting. Have the MC feel like shit for a while, you know? Those are the best stories...
You practically just described 90% of the Chinese novels with female MCs. Moreover, too much bullshit drama in that, not nice.
Sorry, but how the hell did you manage to link WDDG with any of the OP's 'idea' of plot? It has none of that... Strongest Dan God has none of that as well as far as I remember. I didn't get past 130 chapters though, so who knows. It for sure isn't World Defying Dan God. That I can assure you.
The concept is good but you need to provide a background story for the female and explain more in depths her motives and reasoning as well as her justification for deceiving said male. The more complex thoughts emotions and feelings you weave into a novel the more rich and flavorful the finished product.
