It's there, but never direct and never dedicated into a chapter just for romance subplot. Thus answering your question of nope. (Tho this comes from a guy who only read 300 chapters of TKA)
It's ambiguous. There are some hints with Su Mucheng, but at this point not with anyone else. Actually, for all we know they're already in a relationship. For Ye Xiu, the perfect date would be Glory anyway
Yeah the trailer for the anime was a bit deceiving, It'd make a pretty deep romantic plot.. What a shame..
Not really. Slight romantic gestures once every 500 chapters but that's it, which is also what makes it the greatest romance of all time. The love is implied yo.
The author latest work is still being ongoing and it seems to have Romance! considering the book cover... I wish it wasn't drop though. So whether it has it or not I'm not really sure. I wonder why the Author enjoys teasing us a lot..
Feel sad, every novel i read must have some romance in it, though not being harem or having polygamy already raises a red flag. Sucks not being able to enjoy these highly rated novels that have the mc not relatable to due to the main characters seeming to be secretly eunuchs, lol
There are hints are romantic moments throughout the entire series and it certainly feels that at least Mucheng has feelings for Ye Qui. MAJOR SPOILERS from the ending: Spoiler After retiring, Ye Qiu tells her to stay in touch and look for him when she retires, which hints that they will take it further once they are done with their careers. However, Ye Qiu being pulled back to be a coach/analyst/backup puts a stop to that plan for now.
