The title says it all. Please recommend me novels that started with the MC and ML as best friends already. Translated or original, or if you can give me your best recs on western books too. Novels with these criteria please: 1. Close friends already or they became best friends then lovers then marriage. 2. They got together and got married later. Best if married life got expounded. 3. Smut is a plus. 4. Fantasy or contemporary is okay. 5. Female lead should be: - weak that became strong or strong already/independent Examples: A Love So Beautiful My Darling Union Of Enemies Fleeting Midsummer Grabbing Your Hand, Dragging you Away Nuptial Chamber Next Door Seizing Dreams Love Stops Rumours A President’s Out-of-Body Experience

Western novels: Kristen Ashley, Kaleidoscope It also looks like she just released a new book called After the Climb that is along the best friend/ childhood friends turn into lovers line. (And it's free!) I haven't read all of her stories but I think she does have a few others along the same line.
My Mister Ostrich ...wow you just made me realize that I haven't been reading any western novels recently
Wow! I love her Fantasy Land Series. I first read Golden Dynasty and I fell in love with it. That was back in 2011. And to think this is a transmigration novel. I never tried her contemporary. Thanks for the recs.
Same. Though I'm rectifying that. If you like pnr, I'd recommend Scarlett Dawn's Forever Evermore Series. King Hall was along the lines of friendship turns lover.
The only thing I can remember is Throne of Magical Arcana, they keep in contact and keep sending letter to each other for years, then mc invent something similiar to phone and keep in touch with her, later they realize their feelings for each other, engaged, kill some peeps at their wedding and become husband and wife..
I don't think I've read those. I am limited to the selection my library has and they only have her contemporary novels. I know I have more but I can't seem to remember them right now. Oh, if you like fantasy, well written world but no real romance then check out Michelle Sagara's Chronicles of Elantra series. It has a childhood friends relationship but again no real romance (as of the last book I read and evidently I'm missing a few). Although there are at least two ML's who are interested in the MC.
