Recommendations RPG Anime like Log Horizon or Grimgar

It has been a long while since I watched an anime : Overlord Season 2
Anything that is RPG style, preferably no romance

It has also been a while, but it felt psychedelic to be honest.
The OVA for King's Avatar is out now right? Any news about season 2?
There is an upcoming live action TV series,since it is Chinese, I am pretty sure it will become a romance story

 

I think the LA was supposed to come out this month and the second season got pushed back a bit since both were originally scheduled for this month. Which is weird to put a tv show and an anime of the same thing out at the same time. Are you specifically looking for game type rpg, or can it be fantasy with rpg elements?

 

I really dont mind, my PS3 was gathering dust for almost 4 years.
I am too lazy to play a RPG, since I am too impatient so I rather watch something similar
What do you mean by LA?
I keep remembering LA Noire and also Vice City, the game was so annoying especially Vice City with the toy helicopter mission.

Story is average at best and situation seems contrived but it is a breath of fresh air for me

Out of curiosity, why no romance?

 

Simple. I am not a fan of underage romance.
Others might find 16 year old attractive but I dont
For some reason, humans seem to be obssessed with 16 year old girls
Things like Sweet 16, Seventeen Magazine etc

Oh... but like what if it's not underage romance. Like RPG players in their 20s?

 

Look at Log Horizon. Akatsuki is in her 20s allegedly, she does not look like a 20 year old at all.
The whole legal loli rubbish, that is why I don't even bother.
I miss early 2000s anime about a guy who got engaged to his childhood friend both look their age
and things like Maison Ikkoku
So I usually stick to live action, usually even when teenage romance stories get adapted into live action, they use "overage" actors.
Although people like Shida Mirai never age haha

I recall watching similar anime, just like Pokemon, if you did not watch battle monsters as a kid, it is hard to get into it.
I was too busy watching Silver Surfer when people were watching Pokemon

It'll have an anime adaptation in the future it has very little to no romance at all and none of that harem stuffs you usually found in JP novels I've read up to 9 volumes already and not much romance is going on.

Author primarily focuses on the character growth and the story.
