    So there's this new novel being translated called 'I reincarnated into a vending machine'. Japanese LN/WN writers sure like to reincarnate their protagonists into weirder and weirder things. What are the weird reincarnation LN/WNs you've seen so far?

    There's even a novel that MC is reincarnated into a Magic Academy (yes the building not the student) in RRL
    so it's not only Japanese LN/WN that weird

    That's not too far-fetched in my opinion. I've played a few games with talking swords (usually holding the soul of some unlucky thief or some really evil dude). Not that far of stretch.

    I'm surprised there hasn't been a "I reincarnated into a loli's chair or bikini chain mail."

    Ugh, I don't think I can read a novel if the MC isn't at least partly human or becomes human at some point. But seriously vending machine? Dafuq.

    This novel is bullshit.
    One: The MC is a dungeon core. Not an usual concept.
    Two: Magic is stupid. Haven't seen the characters use anything original. Spells consist of one element or the fusion of contradictory elements.
    Three: As a magic academy he does nothing then creates an avatar and leaves after it's destroyed.
    Four: It's just been personal drama after.

    So no, he's not a magic academy unlike what the title says. Thus this has become my most hated oc.
