I'm looking for an novel that really kinda show how lonely or depressed someone feels. Kinda similar to Omniscient Reader. I've kinda looked for one by checking the loneliness tags but their mostly romance. Maybe an plot where the people treat the MC like an chess piece that is very easy to knock over or Vic versa. Ah, if you liked Residence of Monsters, I think you would like most if not all of the ones I listed! You might also like Fu Xing Dong Lai, which is by the same author as ROM. It does have a few volumes where MC's loneliness is described clearly, though it focuses more on MC's feeling of self-guilt and frustration/helplessness rather than loneliness or abandonment.
