    Looking for Sci-Fi Apocalypse novel ideally similar to Godsfall Chronicle. MC must have special abilities and battles mutated monsters. A bit of kingdom or empire building would be nice but that's secondary. I'm looking for something you can buy at your local bookstore. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

    I would just like to point out, availability at your local bookstore highly depends on where you live. "Western" is far too vague for that.
