Anyone else noticed overabundance of this kind of stories in there? It seems to me that every second I try to read starts with gamer being transported in some goofy way into another world... It was refreshing first few times as I didn't really read such stories much before, but after 10th gamer gets killed in weird way, it is pretty off putting. Do you think there's too much of these things? Do you see it as lazy and disgusting plot piece?
Maybe its the way to counterpart webnovel.com where its mostly Chinese eastern fantasy, wherase scribblehub is becoming more centered around japanese novel fans?
I think there's too much of them here in NU. If it's not essential to the plot, the authors probably shouldn't include it at all. By the way, how about pitching in more story ideas in the forum so there's at least a chance authors will post fresher stories?
Hmm, worry not, If I have the time later, I will start another novel. I am thinking about a school life in modern time. Hmm, slice of life and romance will be good.
*look at the text* *hide my gamer transmigration fic* To be fair, most of nuffian are gamer and it was easiest to write compared using soldier or politician that they need knowledge/mindset of said job.
I know of no author that could produce 2 novels at once. If you do, you'll drop one of them sooner or later.
Because this world suck so people write about another world thingy basically also people most dream about.
Yeah, you are right there. I mean I want to write a kingdom building novel, but I know I suck in knowledge about that sphere, so I had to start writing something else. Better then letting people laugh at my shortcomings.
Maybe because nuffians aren't looking for anything more involved. Ai-chan has 4 tiltles on scribblehub, but that one isekai+game element has more readers than the other 3 combined. Ai-chan does enjoy it, because Ai-chan has more confidence with two other titles, but the numbers don't lie. So you should complain to the readers to read other stuff instead complaining to authors who write isekai. The isekai+game element story is Age of Gods Online. The other 3 are Seven Years of Hope (second chance story), Hero Prince(ss) (fantasy comedy) and The Bride's Groom (gender bender paranormal).
I guess every single author want to try writing this type of genre at least once. Even I do want to try the genre at least once.
Does it matter if the MC is a gamer or not? I mean it is just first chapter and then their knowledge, why does it matter? Gamer going to another world is more of a korean theme than a japanese one. From my understanding, they are asking why the MC is always a gamer who goes to another world, not about litrpg isekai.
Im just annoyed that every story is the same, even if it has 0 reason and is forgotten as soon as person gets to other world.
There is a lot of isekai in jp/ch/kr novels. The fact that they exist means that people like them. If people like them then they will continue to appear. And, finally, people will start writing them because they like isekai. And I'm just here trying to come up with the most absurd ways someone could change their personality over the years.
