OOC: SHE MET THEM!!! REUNION!!!

 

"Hmm?"

Hrefna looked outside the narrow window of the tavern and saw the light was beginning to dim, a sign of the sun close to setting.

"Okay, we'll carry on another time."

She took the basket of herbs back to the larder room and placed it on the floor, seeing no point in returning them to the shelves since she'd be taking them out again in the near future anyway. Returning back to the tavern area, Hrefna thought it would be a good time to teach Hellana what she would need to do while the tavern was open in the evening.

"Hellana, since it's getting close to opening the tavern, come with me and I'll show you what you'll need to do as part of your work."

Hrefna turned around and went back to the kitchen, expecting Hellana to follow.

How is she managing to carry all of these weapons?
Why would the wolves not be targeting her even more when she has a leg injury?

And follow along like a baby chick she did, hellana had gone in here once but now she was really obsetving the kitchen noting down where what is placed. "How can I help?"

 

Myl strapped the halberd on her back, while carrying the sword and shield on her hands. Scouting purposes? Send in the most desperate and weak while the leader is analyzing the situation? Could be anything. Also Myl didn't limp around even with that bite. They thought she was alright or just had a small flesh wound.

It's a hunter who hunts using a longbow!!

Hrefna showed Hellana where all the bowls, and spoons were, before showing the two buckets to be used for washing them. She then led her outside to show the location of the well to draw out the water, for when the washing water got too dirty. After that, she pointed to the cooking pot and bread loaves being cooked, making sure that Hellana knew where the cloth for picking up the lid was, as well as the tongs for taking out the tins of bread from the fire. Although, Hrefna said that she would be the one to do that this night, not the new arrival.

After giving a tour of the kitchen, Hrefna brought Hellana to the tavern area, leading her to the counter where the drinks were served. She then explained how to fill up the tankards with alcohol, as well as how much it would cost: 1 copper piece per drink, 4 drinks max per person; the fish stew would cost 4 copper pieces, or 3 if bought as a deal with the alcohol. Once all of this was explained, Hrefna ended her explaining of what to do on the job by saying:

"Ah, if any of the patrons act untoward, or make you feel uncomfortable, simply hit them, or say you're one of my tenants. If that doesn't work, then call for me and I'll deal with them."

She smiled and rubbed Hellana's head in a comforting way, a bid to reassure her that everything was going to be all right, before finishing with:

"Any questions?"

If it's strapped to her back, how is she able to perform acrobatic maneuvers while fighting?
Wolves are a family, they wouldn't sacrifice family members just for scouting purposes.
A wolf bite would have left a messy wound, with chances of bacteria entering Mylferia's bloodstream. That, along with blood loss from not having bandaged it up and carrying on walking on the wounded leg.
Wolves wouldn't pass up an opportunity to attack and eat an injured animal, especially if they'd already attacked them and lost pack members.
At least, that's from my limited knowledge on wolves and carrying weapons.

Hellana shook her head, It seemed quite simple and if the patrons were to cause trouble she had someone to rely on in case they get rowdy. "1 copper drink, 4 drink max, fish 4 copper, 3 if bought with alochol..." mumbled hellana to herself to memorize the prices.Having her head patted felt, nice to hellana causing her to smile peacefully before looking forward to working.

 

OOC: *coughs* Fish stew is 4 copper pieces, but is 3 if bought with a drink *coughs*

"Good girl. Now then, wipe down the tables while I go and take the bread out of the fire~"

Hrefna headed to the kitchen and grabbed the metal tongs to get the loaf tins out of the fire. After careful maneuvering, she finally managed to get them all out, placing them on a stone slab. Getting a thick cloth, she then carefully tipped each loaf tin over and made sure the bread slid out smoothly. Putting the tins into a bucket of water, Hrefna began arranging the yellow loaves on a cooling rack, so they would be ready for food servings.
