Didn't it say "one of the best"? and honestly neither really suit his combat style from what I've read. If he was to pick from the two I reckon he's more likely to pick the spear though.
well, aegis is more of defensive equipment than offensive. but with his main weapon being a dagger I thought he would ask for Hermes boots. it's also kinda weird that he mentions 2 artifacts when he knows that he can only grab one. I think it's either he has a way to bring both, or he would go for "although both artifacts is the best of it's kind I would choose X cuz it suits me more" route
Hopefully it's like that, I wonder if next chapter we will get to see people's reaction to him breaking the record, especially the brothers former team mates
And then came a flying dagger from some God Slayer and he ended up pick that... most of the times MC gets a secret(?) item that deviates from expectations and the shit is the actual cheese... maybe we get a dagger that shoots lightning, fireball, wind blade and death magic that also petrifies, paralyse, stun, blind and all the other debuffs. Personally I believe they will recruit him and wring him for his secrets or just straight up murder him.
Well it would be no surprise if he get's discovered early, otherwise it wouldn't really be that difficult for him wipe the floor with everyone the moment he get's to the same floors with all the hidden pieces hes getting.
