To be exact, 37 chapters behind. Some time next year, I'll probably maintain the gap to be about 15 chapters before or something.

Great translation work, CKtalon. Originally, it was 'Walking by the river, how can there be dry shoes?' but the meaning is lost in English.

 

CKtalon Are Essence Soul cultivators immortal? Also are there many of them cause the latest chapter gave the impression that a faction needs to have a few of them in order to be considered great.

 

Like all iet novels, it always go "oh that realm is damn op but have you heard 10 more op realm above that one?" Dont take it seriously, essence soul realm will be less than a common grunt in 5 books or less.

 

That’s common in every Xianxia really. I just wanted to know if you acquired Immortality at that Realm which would actually be very uncommon.

 

Its probably like in DE. Immortal from the viewpoint of mortal. Then iet introduce new unit of times like grand kalpas and what not.

 

There are quite a few Essence Soul immortals. They do not die of old age and apparently will only die from tribulations (as a result of karma).

 

Thanks CKtalon and wow I think apart from HN1F this is the only novel I’ve ever read where you attain Immortality so quickly, Respect to IET.

 

CD had immortality attained basically incredibly quickly too, with 'Saint' having it.

Anyway, Essence Soul seems to be the equivalent of Yuanyin/Nascent stage in a lot of other stories, so it fits.

 

Yeah attaining immortality in CD was the easiest in my opinion.. all they have to do is train to the 9th rank peak and comprehend a bit of the world and bam you got eternal life, the exact opposite of DE

 

Essence Soul reminds me of faked immortals in DE. Where they have to do tribulations all the time.

 

In DE, from Zifu Disciple until Celestial Immortal, one would have to face 3 calamities and 9 tribulations every couple of centuries.
