Recommendations Shameless, cunning/devious Main Characters

    I've been reading quite a few novels but nothing's more enjoyable than a shameless rascal of a MC to crack me up xD Wondering if anyone had any good recommendations?
    Here's a list of the ones I know:
    1. Shen Mu
    2. Long Live Summons
    3. Tales of Demons and Gods
    4. Heavenly Jewel Change
    These characters are all funny and clever in many ways.
    EDIT: Forgot to mention a few - JMG, LMS


    Special Mention to ISSTH. Not as funny, but I really enjoy actual narrations of enlightenment and quick wits of the MC. Another one would be Mismarca but I only read the manga.

    Yea I forgot to mention JMG cuz it rarely gets updated. Shen Mu is one of my first and favourite because its kind of relatable? For a weak person who he himself thought to be dead wakes up thousand years later with no clue why and finds everything changed, of course it's human to be scared and has to use his wits to survive instead of some unrealistic training manual or artifact that instantly makes him OP/fearless. The fusion between eastern and western fantasy elements also make it pretty interesting ^^

    Thanks for all the recommendations :) I'll be sure to check them out.
    MGA and Xian Ni are also some of my favourites but they don't really fall under this category I think :x
    I've never really read Sun Knight cuz I was kinda against that shoujo manga artwork which made me think of it as a sloppy shoujo artwork. The synopsis also didn't really describe a plot. But I might just give it a go since I don't really know what to expect now :p

    I just saw this one recommended elsewhere and I think the character may be what you're looking for, bear in mind I have not read this story either so I'm not certain but from the description it looks like it might have what you ask for. The name is The Man Picked up by the Gods.

    Chu yang from Transcending the Nine Heavens and Nie li from Tales demons and Gods is in my top list for shameless, cunning and devious MC ever but for ruthless I prefer chu yang more than the rest

    Just started Sun Knight. Halfway through the first volume I was like mehh... when I finished the 2nd vol I was like whoaaaa this plot actually so good. At the 7th volume now haha.

    Yea but its still a really good novel ^^
