Sharing Links to Paid Pirated Content

This particular matter has been going on for some time but it got more common and frequent this past few weeks so I'm going to make a thread about it. Consider this a NUF PSA.

To begin, I will quote this from the Forum Rules.

Recently some nuffians posted Ko-fi links to accounts that sells MTL files of Korean novels. We consider this advertisements and repeated posts of it as spam. If found, these posts will be removed and warnings will be given. Depending on the staffs handling it, you may be given warning points only or warnings that will result in a temporary or permanent ban depending on the staff who handles the issue. Refer again to the rule I quoted if you're still wondering about why this action is done. NUF does not run on democracy. It never has and it probably never will.

NUF does not condone the act of selling and buying pirated raw or MTL of novels you want to read. If you bought something through the users you met here or links you got from here and you got scammed, we cannot help you in finding the perpetrators. What we can do is remove the link and the users so they won't be able to get more victims through this platform and to do this we need you to report those posts or users.

Please be responsible with your money and purchase with clear knowledge of what you're purchasing and who you're purchasing them from.

Grey area. I'm not removing it since that website works like other MTL sites, imagine lnmtl and mtlnovel where you can read both Chinese and English but for this it's Korean. They're not allowed on NU as they are unedited but it's fine to discuss them as a reading platform.

 

sigh...context matters here. what I meant was that no one reads threads like these. the rules, the faq...it's all clearly available. they choose not to read them. If they did read them, they then choose to ignore it. When they are called out for it, they act the victim and say everyone breaks the rules. it's a never-ending cycle.
