The story is so light and fluffy. I like that the character progress is faster and the ml is already falling for the fl

 

I'm nearly sure that she transmigrated as a villainess. It seem like the ml is a blackened sub male lead (in the prologue it's say that he will give up half of the empire because of his love for og fl) who's in love with someone other that his fiance (in the og story here it's either he loved her first but fall for the mc or quickly fall the mc and have 0 feeling for og mc) while the mc act like an helpful cheerleader because she is terrified of him and aim to avoid her downfall so she try to rise his favorability for her. For the last part just because of the cliché of it i will say that she misunderstand him and he fallen for her but is either a tsundere or a cold guy with a low eq .

the story is about how the fl wants to pair up ml with og fl. so at first they will have a ball to celebrate their engagement
she taught him how to dance since he's always at battlefield and doesnt know how to dance.
at first ml sus with fl because he heard that she doesnt like him and doesnt want to marry him but them as they spent more time practicing dancing together he knew that fl sincere.
and ml gradually falls in love with fl
somehow fl wants to make sure ml dance with the og fl(the saint) as he's originally the 2nd male lead and has heartbreaking unrequited love
ml also is fl fav character in og novel
during that time he knew that fl knew about his feelings for og fl
ml never expressed his feelings since he's originally a slave and somehow there's rumour he has devil bloodline whatever
and that og fl is a saint so he felt like he's too 'dirty' for the saint
he likes the saint because she saved him from slumber and treat him as he is

then the day of the ball came and they both dance together.
people praised them saying they looked good together
then the saint (og fl) came with the prince (og ml) as fl requested the saint to bless their ceremony whatever
btw the prince is asshole and do not have good relationship with ml

after fl ml danced together, fl caled saint to make her dance with ml but the prince interrupt and left the hall with the saint

so she borrow the money to buy the saint clothes for the upcoming ball because in the og story saint was ridiculed for he ugly clothes
the saint never dressed up as she thought she's a saint so she should never cross the line
she wanted to avoid her death flag and planned to dress up the saint
but the saint never accept any kind of gifts and only do volunteer works
so fl decided to join saint volunteer together to get close to her and persuade her to wear pretty clothes.

Seems like the OGPlot has the heroine ending up with a prick (based on the above spoiler) who eventually has development, its either that or her ending up with someone blackened but who cares? Female friendships between female leads! Yaaassss! And a man who ACTUALLY tries to move on from his presumed first love and TRIES to get to know his engaged lover

so in the original Fernia (mc) hated the ml because he was blood of a commoner and believed he had demon blood because of his red eyes so due to that she would ignore and sometimes humiliate him. Naturally the ml also didn't like her because of that. Also the ml and mc never met until 3 years after he finished the war so he only knew her from rumours.
