    Upon opening a chapter in wuxiaworld i put the page in reader mode. This gives the site some revenue without crashing the browser on my tablet.

    okay stop complaining about the ads, the ads are the reason why you get free youtube, translation of web novel, and other content online. The world is not free, at least the ads do not cost you money, the ads are just there to influence you to buy a product and make it mainstream.

    YES, but if the ads are too many that it disturb your reading experience or even worse prevents you from reading (like in this case) i would rather not visit the website again. Been long since I last visited wuxiaworld because of the ads problems.

    if we compare it, qidian is better bcz i never got crush on my browser visiting their site but my PC always freeze whenever I'm visiting wuxiaworld~

    i always use mobile phone with heavy ads blocker browser installed just to read there though its always in vain right now i never visit wuxiaworld anymore~

    I had multiple pop up ads on phone when visiting wuxiaworld, and on pc I had pop up blocker but still the ads took up almost 50% of the webpage

    i got the same problem with thread creator, on mobile and laptop or PC~

    on laptop and PC they always freeze after visiting wuxiaworld~

    The problem is not with a webpage but with the ads. As nehpets747 said, ads keeps them working and it's free for us the readers, the problem is the ads that are not about publicity "BUY THIS" but the ads that trick you to plant spyware, malware and the rest. Please check (prepare Malwarebytes Antimalware and a good 24/7 on antivirus) all the redirect ads and see if the ads are offering something or they are trying/doing something else.
    Also, you can use Adblocker and block some ads (if you want to give some money) or block all ads. For mobile i'll recommend Dolphin web browser.

    I ad block WW. Their ads are horrible. They are always video ADs, every one of them for me so they eat up my battery and data plan.

    really? strange~ did this problem from my network service not from wuxiaworld? hey thread creator where's your country did you use same network provider company with me? btw I'm indonesian using network from telkom speedy~

    u're using what browser? cz i didnt get that video ads blocked they're like cockroach~

    Maybe you have pop up blocker or ads blocker or the browser that you used have these functions pre-installed(like UC browser and many others).
