Hi all, I'm currently learning Japanese, at about N4-N5, and I'm looking to practice reading Japanese (esp. enriching Kanji) through reading short story. Are there some Japanese short stories (1-20 chapters) in syosetu or somewhere online that suits beginners? And, though I aim to practice personally, but if I think it's good, then probably I'll publish it.
are you going to compare notes to current translated chapters or are you going blind? because sometimes I know people tried to make their own translation and compared it to the current translation...
Sorry, but it's too long... Both are welcome Basically I'm just looking for something short, but J-novels are usually several books long...
it would be pretty enjoyable if you took a series you like and reread it again... and most of translation put a link to the raw source.. however for one from bakatsuki they didn't provided the raws.. how about picking up something from syosetu rank list? http://yomou.syosetu.com/rank/list/type/daily_total/ it also tells you how much chapter it currently has...
THANK YOU! The link was really useful, I found some interesting ones already. Hehehe, though I hesitate to take up a past favorite (if it's worse than the previous translation, I may cry) I'll also probably look at some not-so-favorite. Thanks @Ldyrdy
Not a problem.. Maybe you will join our ranks and be a translator too.. Who knows? Hahaha Good luck and enjoy your study.. I need to keep up too.. My translation checker will be whipping me otherwise..
