I'm looking for novel with a good story with pet evolution or stuff like that, its also similar to The Charm of Soul Pets but i definitely don't want to read Long Live Summon (MC is a major a-hole), so basically no harem... Show me what you got.
Monster Musume Harem wo Tsukurou! its not bad once you get over the translated grammar (better than MTL, but still not good), but the pets eventually become his harem. also, its only 20 chapters away from being complete.

He hasn’t really sought to make anything and everyone who is a girl monster to join the harem. Honestly, harem is a fairly minor part only in the background. MC isn’t op, and he is quite rational, innovative, calm, and not getting hung up on necessary killing. At the very least, I don’t think it should be judged just cause of the harem tag and should be given a chance.
Never read the first one, i'll check it later, not interested on the second, already read third and fourth I'll keep that in mind and try to read a few chapter later
If you don't mind about RRL title 天与地 Heaven and Earth It is a fan fiction and the story is very focused on martial arts topic, but the MC has more talent in being a summoner than being martial artist so yeah, he got some pets/monsters plus, there is no harem in it Author promised it
