Question Sites where I can post my story

I think there's a few thread buried somewhere in general about them. I know exclusivity is sometimes a condition as a few novels i've seen have vanished from other sites because the author signed an exclusive contract with webnovel

 

royalroad or scribblehub....

 

If BL/Generic-Harem/Adult/Lots-of-Sex then Scribblehub, you'll be instantly tending if you write those huge titties in every other chapter.

Other than that Royalroad I suppose.

Honestly, I've only read a few things on there but from what I've seen, they monetize the ad revenue with the story and share it with the author, they allow the story to be hosted on other websites & don't require you to sign over the copyrights to the company. They also have an app that isn't bad from what I've seen & used(on android at least).

For what it's worth, I'm just a reader so don't take this as advocating for them it's just a site I've visited lately. I believe they have a discord channel you can access from their FAQ, if you want more information.

I would have recommended royalroad and scribblehub as well but others have already suggested them. I don't know much about wattpad.

 

I can confirm, I put [R18] in my latest chapter because of it's content and managed 1k views, the other chapters averaged 300-400 views.

Nope, it's just helpful to put an [R18] in the chapter title if there an excess of such content in a chapter. I mean, some people are just looking for a good fap and having it in the title is a good way for them to find those chapters, they don't have to sift through all those other vague chapter titles in the hopes of finding some good novel porn.

u should consider WN, just don't sign their contract.
wn is as free to use as any other platform as long as u don't sign their contract

what this means however is that you will never get any money from WN

iirc wn not only takes an exclusive license, but all kinds of license relating to your novel. that means that you lose control over it and they also have the right to create side stories, fanfic, continue your story and so on.

one wn author had an issue with this because they wanted movie rights

also note that any income u earn is IIRC, gross.
also IIRC, in the contract, it states that u actually have to pay for your own server costs i think which is hilarious

ofc the contracted writers say they dont get charged and so on but who knows? maybe one day they will ask you for their cut out of the blue....
