Urgh, that recent skip beat chapter... that ending where Ren just appears, smiles, then asks her day... What a devilish smile... and that casual tone... the gap between such a tone and the one used at the beginning... Can we get more than just a single chapter a month... please...? *goes and rereads it all once more* I've had the habit of rereading monthly updated manga... Skip Beat, Horimiya...
I just read that new skip beat chapter! >///< <3 <3 <3 I can't wait for the next chapter! I probably will most likely re-read the series as well! But as to other series, it depends, if the series is slow and the recent chapter made me squeal inside then I probably will reread the chapter ^^/
I don't know about reread the manga, but I have rewatch the anime several times. For now, I'm waiting for several chapters out and read them in one go.
Never re read coz it ain't worth my time, after all if I waste time re reading when will I read novels and anime and study for college?
lol I lost count how many times I reread Skip Beat. I bought the published version, sometimes I like the wording better in the translation than the english published one. I have been squeeling ever since kyoko admitted herself. What a long time coming!
The manga I've reread the most is Skip Beat. Next is Chang Ge Xing. I reread stuff mostly after a while, like after a few months or so. What chapter is this?
There are sooooo many scenes that had me squealing. One of the top ones for me is the scene with Ren and his serious (and mesmerizing) eyes staring at the camera and making a fist. <3<3<3 (squealing in my head just thinking about it) I love how even though Kyoko isn't drop dead gorgeous (which is usually the case but I think she can be if she bothered to make herself up, as we've seen in scenes before, Spoiler i.e. the Sho MV and the party she went to ), she is perfect in every way for Ren. Ren appears to be Mr. Perfect in every way for all females (cause let's admit it, he is sooooo great<3), but he has his baggage and insecurities. Kyoko just...gets him and sees past all that to his more hidden self (even though she doesn't know that Spoiler he's Corn ). how do you use spoiler tags?!!??! I forgot. x_x fail.
Anyone looking forward of her being a ninja? Training and transformation of her role is my most fav part of the manga. The newest chapter, I almost didn't recognize Ren at all ( If not for the president and the hairdresser ) because of the drawing of him seems different. For a sec I thought, "who's this?"
I almost never reread a manga , not even my favorites like Slam dunk ,Vinland saga or vagabond. But i seriously need to reread Real ,kouko no hito and hunter x hunter. A manga that i read several times is Tokyo ghoul ,lol just to understand a bit more the story and there was also a point where there was like 4 groups working on it. I never read skip beat ,but i watched the anime i guess i never read the manga ,couse i didn't know manga back then lol (arround 8 years ago).
Her new role is the thing I'm anticipating the most. Every update I'd be like: will she finally audition now? Will we finally be able to see Kyoko acting now? That's the reason why I didn't like the Mother-arc much; I just wanted it to end soon lol. Waiting suuuuuccckkkkssssssss. XD
I love how his Manager seem to always say the wrong thing and Ren is just smiling away as if he did not hear anything or it didn't bother him. However, we all know that in his heart he already murdered his Manager a thousand times.... Also, the way Ren *justifyingly* makes Kyoko do certain things for the *good* But in reality, it's for his sake... So sly~~
Ah, this topic is making me want to re-read Skip Beat~! I had to stop reading it because it was such agony and I wanted to save up chapters and then I got frustrated with their lack of progress. But now with the amount of squeeing I am seeing, I feel like I should take it back up again... I haven't read manga for sooooo long and this was the one of the few series I even cared about.
Skip Beat has been driving me crazy lately... Just when it's getting good I have to wait for a life time .... I feel like we'd all be in our graves before it's done.
