Request Slow Paced Xianxia/Xuanhuan novels?

    Does anyone have any good recommendations for slow paced Xianxia/Xuanhuan novels?

    Novels like RMJI (A record of a mortals journey to immortality) or Renegade Immortal are examples.
    The novel doesn't need to have less action, just it feels like it has a slower pace or has more chapters per cultivation stage, so you actually feel like there is proper progression.

    it slow but the translation is bad bad. multiply time the wrong chapter is released.
    i realize that the mc is too much of a lacky. always doing mission back to back like he is the only reliable person about 300 or less in.

    What about Martial arts master ? You can feel the progression. Also kinda slow because romance takes a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE part of the series. Romance is to die for because it's sweet with 0 drama = 0 problem stopping MC to woo and get the girl. Takes a small small while but he gets her easily. The 60 first chapters is really slow for starting his lvlup so have patience. Kinda nice moments when people see him being OP and begin to worship him. Near last translated chap FL go abroad but they still video call each other and MC gonna visit her regularly.
    Too bad that despite being number 1 of china qidian, the translation stopped for no reason and lot of people complain.

    PS: it's not really cultivation but you can still see it as cultivation as there are power lvls. There is also cultivation (only MC) but like only 0.001% part of plot.

    Isn't that practically every xianxia as the author takes 5 chapters to describe 1 punch?

    You know...

    Chapter 1: Author describes how awesome said punch is
    Chapter 2: The crowd talks about the backstory of the young master and how such a punch is nothing in front of the young master
    Chapter 3: Young master ridicules said punch
    Chapter 4: Young master is defeated by said punch
    Chapter 5: Everyone and their grandma is shocked at the outcome of said punch
    Chapter 6: The impact of said punch on the waffles made by the baker down the street (I know I said 5, but welcome to xianxia!)

    They don't get to 1000+ chapters by being fast paced...

    It has a very inconsistent translation speed, should I just read mtl?

    Not exactly. If you have read either RMJI or RI, it would make sense. A lot of the time in those novels fights are only stretched out by the arc itself being a large battle or race. Fights are generally kept short in both and there is a lot more plot than there is useless fighting fluff. That's specifically why i said "slow paced". The story moves along slowly, not the chapters. Ex. An entire arc taking 100ch, 40-50ch being fighting, the rest being actual plot progression within the arc.
    Try out any of Er Gen's novels or RMJI, they are quite a bit different than the usual cultivation novels!
