I do not remember the name of this novel. I read it a few years ago. I know a lot of the female mc novels have the same troupe so I'll try to remember as much details as I can. It is historical and wuxia/xianxia. There is an evil white lotus step-sister. He was passing by when he witnessed FMC getting kicked out of her family ? When FMC first met the ML, she was so scared of him because his powers are out of this world. Their romance was very gradual. He comes and goes as he pleases and doesn't warm up to her as quickly as all the other fmc novels. ML disguised himself as someone with a super ordinary look so he won't draw as much attention whenever he stays by FMC's side. ML realized he had feelings for FMC when they were in a forest together and she got separated for some reason and fell into danger. He panicked and when he had her in his arms, he realized his feelings. All the other arcs mostly start with girls getting infatuated by ML and starting troubles with FMC.
