hmm... I wonder how far it will actually get though The novel is already slow paced, but I feel that it would be hard to cut anything out without feeling like something was missed. If it's a 12/13 episode thing, I feel like we won't get much..
It's never stopped them before. There has to be some sort of acceleration, or the anime would have no real progression. They wouldn't produce something that was doomed to fail.
Hm... I guess they could try to make it like Spice & Wolf. That was done well. But if they can't do it right, the anime might end up being boring instead.
Nope, dropped semi-recently but Infinite Novel Translations picked it up. It is just a little shame that it will take a decade or two at this pace. It truly is a monster of a work after all (around 3 million words).
