Hi there! So basically I’d wondering if any of you guys know of a type of snack that is generally only seen in specific parts of the world. This popped up because I just randomly found something called “Roasted Corn Snacks” I assume they come from USA but honestly have no clue. If you’re wondering what they are then I can say they taste like crunchy popcorn. Personally I still prefer popcorn, they’re cheaper too. Would be lovely if you’d include your opinion on the snack
Nut goodie bar from Minnesota you can also get them in most of the other midwestern states it’s a slab of nougat covered in equal parts milk chocolate and halved peanuts and it is delicious
Reminds me of a CN cultivation novel where the mc was living in some kinda village and a recruiter comes and teaches them a technique to eat and has them eating dirt to practice it. I sadly can’t remember the name Dunno why but the pictures don’t show in your actual post for me but they do in my reply.
cuberdons/ "little noses" (loosely translated) from Belgium. They're difficult to transport because the inside starts crystalising due to the sugar after 3 weeks so they're basically only available in Belgium Spoiler
Not sure if it's "only in this place", but my foreign teacher reacted to a specific food with disgust. Bread with chocolate & cheese. Spoiler edit: typo
The infamous deep-fried Mars bar Spoiler {} I've never eaten it and I don't understand the attraction. There are apparently so many calories you're only supposed to have one in your life or something? And places that sell them aren't allowed to advertise it. EDIT: Scotland, by the way.
They have worse stuff sometimes, like deep-fried butter. Because you already had too much fat, you had to fry that fat in even MORE fat. There's also a burger with Krispy Kreme donuts instead of buns. It scares me to think that people wait in long lines just to try this stuff.
Dear god... I wonder what drives people to want these things? I remember my brother wanted a Mars bar a week for about two months solid when they were popular, and I still don't understand why.
