    As many novel that I have read
    Most MC are either solo or have harem comrades (which is kinda repetitive and annoying)
    I never came across a novel with males comrades (at least I think I hadn't, too much stories:p)

    But still
    I would prefer the MC traveling/adventure with other people rather than solo
    It gives a refreshing atmosphere for the story

    Just wondering what everyone thinks
    Why prefer solo or with comrades ???

    I prefer with comrades because novel fights to easily become repetitive to the point you can skip it with a knowing it all face, on the other hand more comrades=more dialog=more fun (in my opinion any way)

    I prefer with comrades.
    Btw, Meng Hao has comrades that's not his harem (Meat Jelly and The Parrot).

    I prefer solo. I like it when the MC only has himself to rely on, plus he doesn't have to share the loot.

    Edit: I consider meng hao to be solo coz parrot and jelly are just nuisance.

    I think Meat Jelly and Lord Fifth is the perfect companions! They're the comedic relief :D They're the perfect companion for the always 'scholarly' Meng Hao. Just like the boring Qin Yu (ST) needs the monkey and the eagle.
    Though the 'comedic relief' human companions of other CN xianxia tends to be a fatty with silly character (SOTR, LLS)

    One of the very best arcs that i ever read was when Linley (CD) went to the wilds to train himself with bebe... I love arcs like that...

    I prefer a solo MC or a MC with some male comrades. I don't understand why companions always have to be female/ fem harem. I like Sovereign of the Three Realms moreso because of the MC's friends. Also Otherworldly Evil Monarch has a similar structure.

    Child of light. - it has dragon as well as humans as companion.

    solo with lots of fluffyness.he has people around him you cannot call comrade but good acquaintance since they don't help much example is kuma kuma kuma bear i really like it much right now hhaha
