Novel 1: The MC entered a tomb with several others and he got the inheritance skills left by the expert there. It was a flying/soaring movement skill/art/technique. In the novel only when you reach a certain cultivation level can you fly. So this skill was a great advantage for the MC at the early days. The skill also helped in his combat speed. Novel 2: The MC entered a tomb as well with other people. In the eyes of others he was not very strong but he was very smart/perceptive. Near the end of the exploration, in the final hurdle to get the treasures/inheritance there was a puzzle/maze they everyone needed to complete. The MC completed it. There was also a female who completed it, who at that time was stronger than MC and a bit older. When they got near the final resting place of the expert he actually appeared as a projection and had the MC and he Female affected by an aphrodisiac which ultimately led them to have intercourse. I am not sure if both Novels are the same.

Not really, while he did enter a Cliffside abode with a skill that allowed flight, it instantly gave him the ability to fly.
'Able to fly at some point of cultivation' what BS is that? That's all Chinese cultivation novels. They all fly at some point in cultivation. Or else why do you see Chinese movies where those people walk on water and bamboo trees. Or why do ppl fly in Monkey King:
