My connection is wired and I have no clue what Microsoft changed in win10. But my PC has kicked over at least once every week for probably that two last months. If my pc is table I see no reason to give it an ( in my opinion) unnecessary upgrade. I need it to do what its proven to do. Not wake me up Q.Q

Hibernate. Sleep mode is a bit sensitive to any input; sometimes accidentally clicking or pressing any button might wake up your computer.

And I'm pretty sure there's an option to prevents program from waking up your sleep mode.

One of the sneaky Win updates forcibly changed the windows button. So now it isn't classic it windows "tiles". My quick access is only Sleep, Restart, and Shut Down. Where would hibernate be on win10?

Edit: checked control panel, I don't have hibernate.

if is not the win10 autoupdate kicking in(9/10), is a programed task, just check the next time in the update panel to check the last time it checked or installed and update if it match the time it wake then there you have it. just change the active hours to install updates.

Actually I found some thing better than going through those win10 cheat codes

    http://www.classicshell.net/
Its almost like win10 never existed

Edit: Thanks fellas for all the help, suggestion, criticism(that one guy). I still don't definitively know whats the problem but I've done some changes that might mitigate the problem. And staying awake isn't doing any good. TY

unplug your internet cable or disconect any internet device with your PC, because that's the only cause.

That's what happen to me, I have win 10 at my PC and my workplace and all those PC are keep going to wake up if you didn't unplug the internet cable or disconnect it

Just to add something that hadn't be said yet : do you have a cat or any other animal that could play with your mouse or your trackpad while you are not looking at it ?

Just trying to cover all the bases...

...why are you using windows 10 when you choose to stay in the past? :blobfrowning:

Tbh the only annoying part about w10 is its Windows Defender; the rests are actually the same with Windows 8. Choosing to switch into classic theme while using w10.... I don't even understand. :sweating_profusely:

    the problem is you
don't let your laptop keep sleeping
It makes your laptop unstable when it comes from heating
the more time you let your laptop sleep, the more it prone to risk
