Can you guys suggest some site where i can keep my manga in check like novels here? Something besides Mangaupdates, its look gross.
MangaR— oh nevermind. We don't post aggregator site here. Just stick with mangaupdates… or nangadex, maybe.
Ehh, i heard there's a some kind of drama about scanlaters leave this site and thus stop published some mangas there.
Well it has a few problems, but it's the "proper" ones out there at least. Wish they had people like the people handling those good manga aggregator sites but that's what you get.
I cant differentiate between which manga aggregator site and which not.... Places I usually read: Mangadex Batoto Mangahere Mangago Dont tell me theyre all aggregator sites?
They actually are. If I remember right, the new batoto is not the old batoto. The domain name was auctioned off and bought by some other aggregator.
Ahhh thats why last year I opened batoto yet it said site no longer exist something but this month I opened it and it went through....
Mangaupdates is the best choice you have and yeah no other alternative and about the the group that left MD majority of them are already dying or simply stopped translating... Sooner or later someone is going to pick-up their previous work. Jaimini Box Hatigarm Scam Champion Scans Impatient Scans Silent Sky Shoujo Hearts Ninja Scans CrossBreed Scans Fan Scans Meraki Scans Wowe-Returner Scans
What about Anime-planet? It's looking good for tracking, but im not quite sure its base as vast as Mangaupdates. Anyone using thins site?
The scanlators that left were all either trolls and greedy or the groups were dying anyway. at least a few members of some of those groups actually took their scanlations and remained on MD under either other groups or their own new groups. Practically any site that hosts manga outside of an official publisher/licensor is an technically an aggregator but the term is used here to refer to ad-flooded shady sites that scrape scans from scanlator sites and MD and etc. Mangadex is the "trusted" aggregator site as it doesnt use ads or screw over scanlators (despite claims and tantrums to the contrary) and respects delays and keeping credit pages. It fills the hole left when the old batoto closed.
MyAnimeList still is a good place to keep track of everything. Plus the list’s background can be customized with CSS.
I'm ended with Mangaupdate. There's just not that much sites other than this, what can be up to date with Korean and Chinese stuff.
