They tried to say something along the lines of "but people are brainwashed into making those choices". Then when I countered with "How do you know you haven't been brainwashed yourself into thinking that way?", they called me an "egocentric" (wut?) child who didn't understand what they were saying. I said to try explaining again in that case, and they ditched out because they were "tired". XD
It's simple. Satisfaction. The reason people can't stop arguing is that they (in this case you) don't have satisfaction that they manage to convince the other person that you're absolutely in the right. While this high endeavor is entirely possible in more nuanced debate while both sides try to reach the middle-ground of so-called truth, internet argument which had stripped context from text, emotion from paragraph, and backstory with all the subtle personal YMMV, brings the whole debacle into realm of improbabilty. What I'd do is simple: Attack the other guys (or gals) with an ad hominem that misconstrued their whole argument as if they were playing paid devil's advocate, and then simply leave it be (and watch how they'll stew and spout anger upon anger upon anger in the form of wall of texts which YOU WON'T REPLY). Rendering yourself the satisfaction that you did have the last word, and they simply talk to empty air. Bonus point if you add a sentence stating that this is the last time you'd be replying to their post. Good luck!
yes energy is free. but the equipment to transfer the energy to your house, the people to maintains it, are not free.. and i assume that the other guy doesnt have arguments anymore when you ask if he/she had been brainwashed too.thats why he/she tell you an egocentric child. sorry for my bad grammar
Lol I think that dude's head is messed up.... He isn't willing to accept anything you say and think everyone in this world is brainwashed... I think that dude is probably a kid who thinks he's the correct one and everyone in this world is wrong.... Well you shouldn't bother arguing with this kind of people, but you can do it if you have nothing to do and just want to waste your time.....
