Example game of thrones novel has sex but it's ok but the TV show just adds random scenes where it's not needed makes me roll my eyes. nothing major its just a omnibus format and there is a scene at each of the ending so you can skip them

I check out what's popular on Alphapolis (syosetu) and look for something that no one is translating yet. I figure that with all the cookie-cutter Isekai Cheat-ability truck-sama reincarnation stories that are being translated, that leaves a lot of ones that are to my tastes in the not translated pile. But if you want a specific recommendation, I'd say Baccano! I'm not sure if you can find it online anymore though, I think that the translators got DMCA'd. Or you could look for the anime somewhere. Irresponsible Captain Tylor is a funny anime, if somewhat older.
