    Show her a list of clips of whose line is it anyway where comedians (dudes) occasionally kiss each other(on the lips).

    Then show her a list of sports animes where high school boys stick to each other and gives girl fanservices that hints at gay, but is not gay(like free and kuroko no basuke)

    Then show her a lost of anime that have gays (like given and mo dao zu shi)

    Then show her some fanart that will get her blood rising.

    *pats* it's ok, as a fellow closeted fujoshi i can really relate to this lol. They just don't understand the greatness of bl world, they miss out a lot -_-

    is this still today's issue???? i mean, i supposed only millennials have this problems (since we mostly have hard copy (as in books) and not soft copy (digital) while our parents unknowledgeable to operate computers)

    i never have this problem and only heard this problem from people around my generation
    (also english is not my parents specialty)

    just keep it cool...see how your parents react...nowadays people are cool on most BL stuff tbh...especially those who didn't have BL at their surrounding (since they don't know what is BL LOLOLOLOLOLOL)
    besides it's better in writing then in picture, no? who didn't have porn nowadays...it's normal...

    Depends on your relationship with your mother.
    Have a serious conversation with her so that she understands you're not a kid anymore.
    And about reading BL explain her your reasons of being attracted to this genre of books. (it's different for everyone but it's mainly: for a female public, as the unknown of the other gender is appealing, seeing two men together can help fill a lack of romance and it could be exciting because it's different and is still kind of forbidden)
    I think saying the truth is the best.
    Trust me, I've been there. And my mom is lowkey homophobic. And it went well.
