Single player, not multiplayer,(which deathwing is supposed to excel at), PC, both cost about the same. (GOG and steam). Which is more fun?:D

After looking at the YouTube for Deathwing, I now realize they’re not both tactical games, which I originally thought.

I don’t full trust my gaming laptop with a high demand beast like Deathwing, so tactics it is. Thanks! :D

if you want tactics, best one atm imo is probably 40k Mechanicus so maybe keep an eye out for that.

About the end March or the start April they had a mid week on the Dawn of War complete collection containing Dawn of war, winter Assault, Dark crusade, Soulstorm, Dawn 2, Chaos rising and Retribution for like 20 bucks + tax I should have posted about it when I grabbed it, just saw them separate for about the same total in that deal

I’m gonna get both. Use up some of my hoarded Amazon gift carts for Steam creds, tactics is only 6 dollars! Mechanicus is only 14 with dlc! \:D/:blobparty::blobparty::blobparty:

    I prefer turn based. :p:p:p

If you like turn based strategy games check out Battletech, it is a very cool game about controlling a squad of mechs and doing missions with them fighting other mechs and tanks. there is even a mod called RogueTech that allows you to control more than one squad of mechs at the during the same mission and reconfigures a lot of other shit though I have to say that it makes the game very difficult.

The game is currently on sale on humble bundle and GOG for 10$, according to this website. https://isthereanydeal.com/game/battletech/info/
If you want it even cheaper you will have to wait for IndieGala or Fanatical to offer a sale of their own on the game. :p

I’m going to wait until Flashpoint, Urban Warfare and Heavy Metal to go on sale in a nice, comprehensive bundle. :D I bought Inquisitor because it was a Game of the Year edition. o_O
Come to think of it, I’m still waiting for a full version of X-com 2 to go on sale…:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Ieven kinda want the Shadowhawk pack…nah.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

lol, I got lucky and got the game and the flashpoint DLC in a humble bundle around a year back. honestly unless you intend to play in the rogue tech mod alot the other two DLCs don't add much to the game. The urban warfare dlc adds a new environment for missions but all Heavy metal DLC adds is a bunch of heavy mechs which is not particularly hard to mod into the game yourself if you wanted.
so in my opinion besides flashpoint neither of the other DLCs are worth buying even on sale tbh.
