So I needed to restore my computer to factory settings and when my computer final restarted my speakers stopped working. When I mouse over where the volume is located it says "No Audio Output Device is installed". I don't know the exact type of speakers I own but they are logitech. Clicking on "Playback Devices" shows that there are no audio devices are installed but my speakers are not Bluetooth and are plug in what do I do?

Uninstall and reinstall the drivers. If still not working, check your sound card.

This happened to me a while back, just saying before you do anything that involves drives, sound cards, speakers etc. just make sure nothing is jammed in the audio jack clean it with something like a toothpick.

I have something under "Sound, video and game controllers" called IDT High Definition Audio CODEC and under its properties it says "
This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1) A device attached to the system is not functioning. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."

Have you tried turning your computer off then on again? Its good to ask because you'd be surprised how many people dont do this step that will fix 90% of all problems

First off, check your hardware device if they conected properly or not. Then check back the audio setting of the operating system. Third, restart the PC. If you had followed ALL of those step above and still not working, you swriously need a computer expert for this...

Try the update driver option. If it doesn't work, uninstall IDT HDAC and restart your pc. It will reinstall the available drivers by itself

double check if your speakers work with your phone. if so then do the following.
    1. open your pc and check if the connections are loose (most common)
    2. create a linux live cd (preferably monolithic kernel like ubuntu). boot from cd and check. if the issue is a driver issue, then your speakers should work when you have booted from cd.
    3. if you can confirm it is a driver issue, reinstall drivers. else, its a more serious hardware problem

Ah, that common problem. Check the web for additional sound drivers for the motherboard. Just google the name of your product + drivers.
