Poem Speech

My kin, my brethren, my brothers.
We have long awaited this day,
Where we take revenge for our fathers,
And let those bastards pay!

But as much as you do, so do I,
We cannot start right here,
For that is where their traps lie.
So when we start, promise me, take care.

We will slaughter and pillage.
Though we shall also recall,
The crimes they did to our village.
So we should pay them back all in all.

Night will fall in due time,
'Tis bane of their kind.
When the bells rings it final chime,
Strike them from behind.

Let us rejoice in the blood of our foes,
And laugh at all their final death throes!

I liked it. The start reminded me of Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar where

Brutus said :

“Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears”

 

My flesh, my blood, my family
Our sun sets today
Gates burned by our enemy
Our Empire now brittle clay

Though they have an army, so do we
Our last stand here on broken walls
'Fore Paradise we finally reach
So when this ends, slay me. I plead

We will look back and remember
The innocents we slayed
Those we dismembered
For the people's sake

Twilight approaches,
Our purity now lost
The funeral bell tolls
Was this truly worth the cost?

Regret not what has led you here,
For justice belongs solely to the victor

People of my land.
I have something for you to see,
And things we need planned.

Gaze upon this corpse I found,
Slain by one of us Men.
Does it not have the face of a hound,
The kind that lives in a pen?

How could we let this lowly kind,
Bring us such dismay?
Have we all been blind,
To let them put on this display?

So we should crush them once more,
And put them in their place.
That they are slaves to the core,
and nothing else is the case.

We kin, my brethren, my brothers,
We shall kill them like our forefathers!

Like a little boy who runs around with his toy plane wishing to fly; running and running, flying and flying


I wish to create a world where people can fly; thinking and writing, thinking and writing.


Like the child trips and falls, his dream in pieces; crying and wailing, crying and wailing.


I trip and fail, my wishes ridiculed and shunned; no more flying, no more flying.


But like the boy you see, i don’t stop dreaming.


Time passes, the boy grows and soon is a man. And like the boy, i have grown


We have learned the boy and I; No more tripping and falling, no more tripping and failing.


Now we take others to fly. Him in the planes he flies and me in the worlds I create.


Like the boy, I trip but learn, and i fall but eventually i fly.

 

Across the ocean lies a kingdom in ruin.

Once prosperous and kind, why she fell one cannot divine.

One moment prosperous the next in abandon.

Her children played in streets and serfs tended to crop and cattle.

Boisterous merchants bartered with coin and jewel.

But all has faded away.

Wild dogs fight and prowl her bare alleys and avenues,

And the crows peck at skeletal cattle while you tread through gray and dry fields.

Her heart, the treasury of gold and jewel, looted and stolen.

Her head, the throne is empty and her body the land is broken,

No one will set foot here, for this land is forsaken.

 

WHY DID I JUST POST THOSE!
