This stuff never been my forte :blobsweat_2: but maybe if you look at it from the generator's side, since only the left half of the circuit changed to assure better functionality I think :hmm:, the right side (looking from the motor's side) didn't change so it is probably got to do with making the circuit functional and better managing energy consumption (not sure to be honest :blobsweat:)

Just a 12th grader,...However, the voltmeter connection in 2nd and 3rd look absolutely rubbish to me. Voltmeter and induction coil together...why? Plus zero p.d.
If this is something correct and above my (non-existent) pay-grade, please dont laugh at my ignorant ass lol. Just ignore this :)

I am assuming that the last system is the most stable, or has least chance of failure. Sent it to my expert. Fingers crossed.

look at the simbol on the girl head, and then to the number of the same simbol in the circuit, the more there are the happier she is.....it's like the female/animated version of that simbol(should that be a transitor? not sure...i don't study elettronic since 7 years ago...).
    e.g., earth-chan, ebola-chan, corona-chan, chrome-chan.....you get it....

It could be half wave, full wave and then dc outputs

M is a motor, the wave symbol in a circle is a sign for an AC current source. I have not traced it out properly yet but I suspect it's the ability of the circuit to power the motor.

    Conversion of AC to DC
The M is the 3 phase induction motor
So, you are first rectifying a single phase ac supply to dc and then inverting it to three phase
The rectifying part is different in all 3
The first one is least efficient. And your motor will be pretty much useless with that.

The second one is slightly better.

The third one is the best
In the second one, IGBT will be ON for only one cycle.

In the third one, at least one will be ON All the time

TLDR: She is IGBT chan, or a switch. Also works as thyrestor. She is continually turned on in third case only.

Wow, is that a three phase motor ? Good thing I went for electronics instead of electrical. Just need to directly connect the dc motor to a battery, polarity be damned.

The circle with the squiggly line on the left side is an AC power source. That's important to note because of the diodes (big triangles) and coils of wire (curly-q's) involved in the circuit. When you add diodes to an AC motor in the proper configuration, you can turn the AC power source into a DC power source. The motor on the right would go up in smoke if it received AC power, so what you're seeing is what's called a rectifier. It turns AC power into DC power.

Unfortunately, I'm not an EE major, so I don't understand why the anime girl is so happy about the last one.

    Added into from my guy:

In the third one atleast two will be on at all times
    Its a Power Converting action

look, the m is vibrator, the 1st one no vibration.
The second one vibrate, stop vibrate stop.
The 3rd one vibration non stop. Easy.
