Even though I KNOW this is going to be a harem story I can't help but wish deep down that he would stay with just Ling Yushi. She is a genuinely good girl. The general agreement seemed to refer to not bringing it up around the average clan members. Of course they would have to tell their leaders about what happened and Qin Lie's contributions during the mission in the privacy of the clan hall.
Interesting that she wanted them both or not at all. That old woman said of them that one was fiery in temperament ( the little sister ) while the other one was demure and whatnot. MC is such a fucking wimp in the last couple chapters, and what the hell, he sends his own GF away when he didn't need to (He even just made the spirit gathering tablet thing so he can boost cultivation speed by 25%, and that's with the absolute weakest material...) AND then he fucking huddles up like a fetus cries about being alone...
I like how the story goes out. The guy is not too OP, but he hasn't got full grasp (in theory and in practice) of his abilities. And now he's now zero-ed in by the Nebula Hall just because they detected that he could do lightning. I hope Nebula hall thugs (yes that princess and her cohort) will get end up real bad for trying to use Qie Lie (or else why would they even demand him to follow them in their journey?)

Well now MC lost his backer, and they've arranged the whatever remained of the backer's family (only a few left) to ascend to Nebula Pavillion. Essentially now the Tu family now controls 2 factions. I don't know why the Nebula Pavillion would make such a mistake. The author rationalizes that Nebula Pavillion wants to see the bottom two "feeder associations stop the intense infighting", and sure at the moment the victors are the Tu Family. But I think that the dangers of leaving a "feeder associations" into a single family? That will bite into Nebula Pavilion deeply in the back. Very sure about it. I doubt a family that controls 2 feeder associations would want to remain a "feeder association" and not 'negotiate' for a better 'deal', like the enemies of the Ling Family which switched sides. On the other hand, I don't know if the MC can even trust "Li Mu". For all we know he's not a shallow guy, and there must be a good reason why he's even there opening an almost defunct spirit shop. Man, i hope the translations pump out chapters faster.
