Hi. I finish reading this a few years ago in Vietnamese. Since I was reading it in English and then Vietnamese there was a part that I wasn’t able to figure out. Who was the person the in black cloak at the auction house in the lower realm before LX And Momo went to the academy?
I can't remember that well anymore, but I think the person was either Qiu Ran or just a random character. I think someone speculated it could have been that teacher in charge of growing the sect's magic herbs? (The man that recommended Dao Xin Academy to Momo) Since it was early in the story, this may have been one of the many things an author will mention for potential future scenes. She did not have a reason to use that character as the story progressed, so it wasn't brought up again.
I knowwww!!! I was so excited when I saw the update! It's like breathing fresh air. I'm glad that the author is okay too.
Time to reread the whole fanfic again to get into the feels! I have to agree with PiayaParty on this too. Since It's in the beginning of the story and no direct mention of the person in later chapters, it could be that person is just a canon fodder character since what followed after the auction was focused on LX and Momo trying to outrun their pursuers.
It's a happy ending! You get to find out about Momo's family secrets. There is also a chapter of Momo and Ling Xiao just having fun- nothing plot related or school related. And there is another cute chapter of the Qiu Team having a good time and shows that Momo cares about them very much. The rest is relative to the reader. The author put many strings together, but also left certain things open ended, which bothered some people. For some, the first intimate ending scene was too confusing and upsetting, while others considered it lighthearted and weird foreplay.

Hello, does anyone know what the original "Lin Xiao's" motives are? It was mentioned in Chapter 28, when Ling Xiao goes into his thoughts to talk about who Lin Xiao is as a person. He mentioned how "Lin Xiao's" reasoning for being nice to disciples was due to a big secret and he was going to help him fulfill it.
