The contract beasts are perfectly satisfied ( except their name of course ) with their master and boss and they are so many you will see as the story progress....
Regarding side pairings of other characters yep there are some but the focus of the story is how boss and YXM got stronger

 

*cough* ... there's an arc in which Sheqiu was kinda... at it... with a female snake and YXM overheard their... sounds. But it's kinda a momentary thing, and he did it partly to cultivate. His other beasts doesn't seem to have relations with anyone outside, tho (excepting the mythical phoenix(?) hybrid(?) birdie).

 

Yeah, I reas the part abt the snake but didn’t reach the bird part. Who’s his(?) partner?

I don't mean partner, his relations outside with the phoenix clan as in he being a probable candidate for the succession. I think that's partly the reason the thing with LX's mom was solved peacefully.

I'm kinda confused so if anyone can verify that'd be great but... LX doesn't actually have a mother, right? The dude who led the tengu clan and his 'imprisoned' father conceived him in vitro?? or something about LX's body being a mix of all 4 clans, or something, through his blood directly. I AM CONFUSED. The extra has a dialogue where YXM said something about LX an in vitro baby so...

Uh oh. I reread many times in parts so I kinda don't remember, sooooorry ;w; but it'd be around 400-500s. They sorta have a homebase in the city before settling down in the tengu's mountain. YXM was separated from LX (I forgot why orz) and returned first to their rooms in the restaurant, but there are suspicious sounds inside...

 

Why YXM was the only one in the family that wasn't a cultivator? Why did the family keep it a secret from him?

 

I heard that LX parents are both men.

I would like o know as well. My yearning to know mooaaaaaaar of Momo and hubby is getting more restless. It won't be long till I succumb to the temptation to MTL this (like I am tdoingwith seventh young lady) but, but, the translations are sooo good and MTL sucks ass.

why I get the feeling the bimbo friend of Teng ZiXin is going to try to seduce Momo's hubby

 

after the annual exam and she was beaten by momo she already gave up challenging momo... and yes qiu ran was beaten by boss but he is not aware who he is
