LCD Stagnant Water of Apocalypse

Yeah, too bad. By the time there are enough chapters again, I'd probably lose interest on this novel already.

 

Fiberglass body.

 

they don't make cars entirely out of fiberglass nowadays. Even if we say the panels where mainly made of fiberglass unless no one's even brushed against it since the apocalypse started it wouldn't be in one piece

 

I was stacking chapters for a while and have been trying to catch up. Finally finished the 32 chapter "Prologue".

 

Well, the story is much faster paced once the apocalypse actually happens. It reads better too, still I need to nitpick.

Ch-45
The murderer goon is using a ceramic knife to bash at the MC's shield. The knife should have shattered because ceramic blades are very brittle. Their selling point is that they can hold their sharpen edge well, but their disadvantage is that they're delicate.

 

Although that Kyunghoon guy is a bit of an ass, I feel that he is right to insist on going out to hunt the zombies. The gym group aren't the only survivors and this neighborhood had a finite number of residents that turned into zombies. If several groups had cooperated to do a coordinated street sweep of the local zombies, they could have cleared up their area. Or do the zombies spontaneous spawn in a game-like manner?

 

From the way they described it, it seems like both. Most of the residents turned into zombies, but more zombies spawn to fill out their ranks along with other monsters.

 

Then he's even more right. You can't survive a death game if you don't continuously raise your level to match the inlation of the enemies' power creep. Their stored food is going to run out in a few weeks, if not sooner, so they'll be forced to fight for resources eventially anyway.

 

he's right to fight zombies but he's wrong about everything else that's why they don't trust him. the game is called survival, not zombie hunter.

 

Not quite, It was said that they stocked up about 1 year's worth of food beforehand so resources aren't necessarily a problem for them, especially with the time capsule and the way the MC mentioned for them to get more food. IT seems like with that situation the people on the MC's side where just advocating caution and not taking unnecessary risks. It was also said by the MC that the spawned enemies are at the average level of survivors in the area. I think the linchpin of the mater was that Kyunghoon and Bora started alienating members of their own group while sideling up to members of another.

 

The loophole "making it look like a suicide" is really stupid, when tripping someone so they'd be eaten by zombies, is enough to count as murder. The murderers have increase stats too and could activate a duel arena, they also wouldn't be attacked by monsters and zombies in the long run. Like wtf? The only consequence of killing somebody is they could hear your heartbeat. Who tf cares? What use is that? This is not some romantic novel where you'd want to know if their heart races when they see you.

 

They also eventually fall into a murderous frenzy and loose control of themselves. And anyone who kills you then gets a ton of rewards with no penalties.

 

Who would even stay sane in that setting? Being insane would probably be better off. Also that's usually what happens when you kill someone, you pretty much get everything they own. They don't need to be a murderer for that. Points doesn't mean much for the MC anyway. There's really no winning for that game anyway, and if there is the MC has it already. A warm place with functioning appliances.

 

the original game has inventories so you get what's inside but its reality so it's redundant now

 

Ch-56:
Where is he tossing all that snow? If he is just dumping it over his perimeter walls, that could make a ramp for critters to climb. Of course, what about his barbed wire fencing? Depending on how much snow he got, the weight of the snow could deform or flatten the barbed wire structure. And letting the snow freeze over will pretty much negate their effectiveness.

 

Ch-62:

Well, that cleared up my earlier question.

 

I read it as the barbed wire is on the side of moat facing the forest, and the snow was piled up to make a wall on the side of the moat facing the cave.
