I am not sure its worse, however its definitely not...better.

 

Him leaving it alone would let fans come up with creative endings or possible further story...but if he ends rushed, then no matter how creative you are, you will get influenced.

 

With just the 9 chapters so far, this story is... mediocre. Kind of annoys me that TDG is half-dropped by the author as I didn't know that before but honestly with how TDG is just a straight line slowly going down since the awesome start, that doesn't surprise me. The entire divine feathers sect arc is just bad and if the story doesn't get better then I'll just be sad because TDG was one of the first stories I read and got me into reading these web novels.

Also the editing/translation for this story is not quite atrocious, but c'mon it's not hard to make it better.

Been on my to read list for a while...I liked the manhwa but then I heard the GREAT AND TRUSTWORTHY author left it for some time after a couple of major arcs or so?

 

I feel bad for a new translator to start up one of Mad Snail's novels. It will probably be dropped like the others. I am interested in reading the first few hundred chapters, before it devolves into unreadable trash. The author has some real potential. He comes up with interesting and creative ideas, but he lacks the ability or patience to follow through. It's a shame

 

It was dropped ("supper long hiatus") after 350 chapter or so. A shame really, it looked good. I just wonder why the author does not end a novel after 300 ch or so if he has such troubles finish novels.

 

You would think he would learn his lesson, by now, and get better and correct his methods, but he keeps doing it again and again. Is it possible he's doing it on purpose to annoy people and drive them crazy. Maybe he should stop writing web novels, and just write a regular novel

TDG gets updated maybe once a month, this novel hasn't had a new chapter since last July I think. Those don't count as "irregular releases."

 

There is that point in web novels, usually between 200-300 chapters, where the original premise of the story reaches a turning point or end or whatever, and the story has a new beginning or setting change, etc. Mad Snail can't seem to transition his story well, past this point. It's likely due to too many open ended plot points and plot holes. Maybe he just gets overwhelmed and abandons it all

 

Imho I don't think he actually know how to end a story before he loses all motivation for it.

 

I dont even care about his novels anymore. Gonna screen his novels out of my life

 

well there are reasons for TDG getting update like that, and there are some LNs like that as well.
but for SMGT, there doesn't seem to be any reason like that !!! its as if it got picked, but doesn't have any taste so its ignored.

at least he could try getting some ideas from other LNs,

 

Considering how the author handles things so poorly, in regards to his his novels, I am amazed at how successful he is. His novels keep getting made into manhua, even though he is so unreliable and flaky. Is he getting rich with these half-assed and half-hearted works? It's somewhat frustrating and disappointing

i love the manga and i tried the mtl, but its an pain in the azz

when i go to nu and saw till ch 33, but there is no ch33 oO and oh great it is instead retranslate from cha 1 til 6 :/

i´m not sure if i should go trough the mtl or just stick to the manga,

pls give recommendations

 

As it is on hiatus (by the author) ... you have enough time to either learn Chinese or improve your MTL skills before the story will be finished ... if at all.
