Star Wars is over. Its been utterly ruined. (Spoilers)

I will be honest I hated TFA and Rey Sue but all that BS was way way WAY better compared to what I have learned about TLJ. Kylo kills snoke. Luke dies due to "exaustion" After Force projecting. Kylo and Rey have Force bond moments. Luke thinks about killing Kylo in his sleep. Has cut himself off from the Force. So bad in so many ways. The person who said "I am a jedi like my father before me." is gone and with it the spirit of this franchise. Horrible. Like the people who are in charge of the new series have no understanding of the spirit of star wars. The great battle between good and evil. How the philosophy and the mysticisim are intertwined now its just garbage. Why should I care about any character now when I know that they might go from what they were to end up like Luke. And because snoke was killed like that where is the threat? IT used to be good against Evil and there was an established clear enemy now it seems that the battle can never be won. As someone will just go bad again. Pointless cycle , Also because snoke is dead kylo takes his place as the big bad. The same kylo that got his ass handed to him in the first film by the way. Also in the end apparently a kid is shown using the Force on a broom again screw how the force works. WoW just WoW. I hated TFA but at least it wasn't as bad as this. Its like this is the final blow to Star Wars.
I could have accepted luke dying if it had been done well. If he was killed while he force crushed several battleships and turned the tide of battle. not due to "Force Fatigue" but do to him not having time to deal with the enemies on the ground. That I could accept. but this is just horrible. I could even accept it if he didn't die but achieved his final form as an all powerful Force entity. That I could also accept but dieing because of "Force Fatigue" because he used force projection is non sense. This is the end of star wars. Seriously.

You know, when Episode 1 came out, we said the exact same thing. Well, not exactly the whole rant, but you know. Back when Episode 6 came out, people who enjoyed Episode 5 said it wasn't as good as Episode 5 either. So just enjoy whatever is left of it. It's his story, unless you can propose a better one, there's no chance it can get better.

Your rant is the same as every other rants that have existed and will continue to exist in the future. The difference is, do you care enough to make a difference?

 

well u could always go read the novels of Star Wars... so many of them, in the hundreds. u shoud read them. Personally, they are the true sequel for Ep.6 (i loved the prequel about Obi-Wan past too). Really, Star Wars isnt for Disney

 

They were just too cheap to use some money and buy rights for old (now non-canon) books etc. Would have loved to see yuuzhan vongs.

 

Only the first three were worth watching. Everything afterwards were awful. I mean why would you even name the latest movie so similarly to a previous movie. That alone is a dead giveaway.

I think the names are a good give away to the franchise. The last film in the OT was return of the Jedi and this is the Last Jedi. This I think gives away the massive departure from what star wars is. Well there goes a large peice of "nerd culture".

 

I watched star wars and I wouldn't rate it that highly lol lord of the rings is better... Farscape is better.... Lmao

Yay! Let's tie up George Lucas and make him give us a sequel to end all sequels. A great one!

Farscape was nice. But personally I prefer Andromeda.

 

Just always remain humble and self-critical, that's kind of where george lucas failed. He thought his views as always being right, which led him down a dark path.

 

there was this episode in clone wars series that explains in detail the balance of the force And how it works.. might want to go and watch that to understand.

also. the jedi order ruled for so long, it was bound to lose eventually.

About the Star Wars franchise....as far as I'm concerned, a universe that all of a sudden has a Jajabinx is not worthy of my attention.

If you are a die hard Star Wars Fan, and want an awesome follow up to the original trilogy, you definitely have to read Thrawn Trilogy. Hang, he has written other Star Wars novel too so I'd give those a shot as well? He is a really good writer in his own right.
