    Just like most fandoms with a lot of obsessive people that has too much idle time on their hands... :blobspearpeek:
    It's also roughly the same in most countries (Cf japanese fans burning merchandise and threatening to kill directors, writers or idols for discovering that they are the only virgins around here) and has been true for a long time all around the world (Cf people's reaction to the death of Sherlock Holmes as Conan Doyle received threatening or full of insults letters, and I could go back further in history or geography but I feel lazy today)...
