    If you've ever owned an R2D2 toy or shirt the new guy will just be an insult, plus the guy is not that pleasing to the eye. In the end anything star wars related is going to end up being compared to it's cult classic films or to the 3 CGI pieces of shit produced by the devil using George Lukas body, I mean everyone knows GL sold his soul and was replaced by a devil how else could you explain crystal skull and his sellout to Disney?

    I was dissapointed , I did not feel really appeal by the movie, it s seem too much like a remake of the episode IV with modern standing:
    A girl lead ( a luke) , a black (finn the new han solo or leia?), bb-8 (r2d2) , kylo ren (teenage darth vader), a bigger blackstar, a gay idian pilot.
    Except for han solo , they all lack chrisma, they were choose to no make people say they are only white people like old movie , it s a trend to replace with non-white people ( man of steel pery white, fantastic four, fury in the marvel universe etc.) it s a bit sad they did not just take charismatic lead, the choice of a female lead is strange too.
    Looking at leia she was most likely a jedi potential too but she did not become one, it was justified because she chose to have a family , that s forbidden for jedi.
    Moreover the jedi got more male than female therefore it s even rarer to have a female lead after luke being the last jedi alive ( fact he is the strongest to have ever live , quote from lucas himself).

    Overall the plot is too much simple: it s worth a strong 6/10
    The movie is still good for the one that did not watch the previous episodes.
    And can make SW fan think about the origin of rey. And it s good to see what became of luke and han solo.

    It's done by disney... WTF did you expect? Just be glad there is no singing.

    My main problem with it was with how the Jedi/Sith need years of training to be able to use the force well and yet Rey just picks up a lightsaber, beats a sith who's been using a lightsaber for quite a long time. Also, the "don't tempt me to the light section" came across as pathetic
