So, my lil' sister has few games she likes, and we realised earlier today that what they have in common is that they're stats based games with (relatively) short replay loops. They are

Long Live the Queen - A sort of visual novel where you'll be crowned in a year, unless you're brutally murdered, poisoned, fail at war or not sing well enough. Each week you can choose which classes to take to increase certain stats (court manners, swordsmanship, economics, foreign intelligence, etc.), which open up opportunities to take. The game is expected to be played many times, trying different stats to solve each problem. There's possibly no "true good ending", just many different ways to not be dead at the end : )

Plague Inc - A mobile game where you have to end humanity with your disease. You have to juggle various stats (infectivity, visibility, resistance to medicine, lethality) to make sure you infect everyone, then kill everyone. Different disease types require different tactics (virus have a lot of mutations which is a double edged sword, while parasites are easier to go under the radar, but harder to infect). Again, many playthroughs are required to discover the "optimal strategies".

Though both seem casual, they're hard in their own way (I'm no way as good as my little sister in them, but she's pretty much useless in all other games).

So my question is... Do you know of any other Stats based games like the two above? It should have several playthroughs, not like MMOs where, while there are stats management, you really only get one chance to try them.

Thanks, and sorry for the long post..

    The Last Sovereign.
    Wiki

20+ hours of gameplay. Free, but has not been finished yet...

Hrpg maker game, its extensive, has its own wiki, and if you don-t use a guide, you could replay it many times.

Just kinda hentaish, text based, character, politics driven, with harem and explicit scenes(pure text).

The prologue has a plot twist, so you should at the very least try to go through it completely.

You can skip any sex scene and have a great game to play.

One desicion now can affect later events, you have ta invest game money for economic ventures and help your army grow, and try to influence different kingdoms to make decisions that help you.

Plague Inc, first started out as a PC game BTW,
but another fun game is Reigns, though can be brutal if you're not careful.

    Oldschool Runescape (browser game)

It's a stat based game, hundreds and hundreds of hours of gameplay, multiplayer (or you can choose solo only mode), I enjoy it.

Vanilla is fun until you get to the point where you're just cavalry charging everything and the only thing that can stop you is a coached lance. Then, you discover the DLC's and Floris mod... and never see the light of day again.
Edit: PC game found on steam, can be played offline, and runs just fine on my craptop with lowered settings.

I like Age of War. It's sort of a tower defense game, but it took me quite a few tries until I managed to defeat the hardest setting, Each playthrough is also quite quick,

HMM I wouldn't say EU is stat based per say .. more like grand strategy with my numbers against your numbers with lots of different parameters .. I mean you don't really have a character or a something where you have to change stats accordingly

Then again there is tons of ways to play it differently and the main focus is just to be the best nation out of all of them and you can start as whatever nation you choose. Tho each nation has its own advantages and disadvantages some don't have any advantages ... :p
